The Transformative Vignette

I don't know what else to call these, but they were a hallmark of movies of the 80s... The scene in the movie where the protagonist was going through "change" and was often accompanied by press in popular magazines and in Rocky's case-- product placement and sponsorship. Some days I wonder if it's things like this that got me interested in advertising back when I was a kid. But I still love them. Even if they are completely ridiculous.

So I'm online looking at food vlogs today on the news that Whole Foods has added one of their own, and in the course of events I head to epicurious.com to see their offering.

Colin is apparently a fan of Electrolux, but what's most impressive is that he has different kinds of ice cubes for different drinks. I don't know if that makes him extremely pompous or very thoughtful. You decide.
